Blaeser argues that our relationships to family and community and share who we are. Blaeser gives her readers a metaphor comparing that relationship to her friend’s Carly, tangled hair. She supports her claim with her experiences visiting warrior graves with the Legionares. She also uses her heritage of catholic school and her German and Auishinaable to describe who she is. Isaac Giles Ms. Lehmann English 1-1A 21 September 2018 Summary of “Night Calls” Fugard’s short story, “Night Calls,” is about a daughter and a father relationship. Lisa Fugard wrote the short story called “Night Calls” and it is about a relationship between a father and a daughter. The narrator goes to visit her fathers hoping for a connection, but they have fallen apart. The father had gotten depression after the mother died in a car crash. Just before quitting his job and moving, he is put in charge of a bird. When he sets the heron, the father and narrator start to talk more and their relationship becomes better. One night, the bird escapes and Marlene finds the dead heron and buries it. One night, she goes into the water waist deep and mimic’s the herons call to give her father more hope.Isaac Giles
Isaac Giles Ms. Lehmann English 1-1A 19 September 2018 Summary of “Once Upon A Time” One night the narrator thinks she hears the footsteps or robbers, but cannot calm down even when she learns she is safe, so she decides to tell herself a story. The story has a mom, dad, and son who live in a beautiful home in a suburb. Over time, the suburbs become more dangerous. As a result, the family starts to put up more and more security. The highest security is a wall topped with razor wire. One day, the boy plays outside, crawling in the wire and getting mangled.Isaac Giles

Answer: I revised my papers and i had to change some of the mistakes that i had made and that i learned how to do that particular part of the paper
3. What are the conventions of a summary and how did you meet those in the assignment?
Answer: I changed the summary's in all three of them cause i had made some mistakes writing the stories but in the end i learned how to revise summary's
4. Given more time to work on this assignment, how would you improve it?
Answer: I would improve it by adding more information to the summaries and fix the mistakes that i did and that i would also change something's like look for more research.
5. What is one thing you’re proud of in this paper?
Answer: I am proud of writing these three summaries and that i would still love to write or type even more stories.
